Our Common Bullock Ancestry

According to new information, (DNA testing) our group of Bullocks came from Shropshire, England. I have found there were two Bullock's transported to the Colonies. Abraham Bullock in 1721 and Edmund Bullock in 1763. Edmund was convicted of stealing brass at Barrow. This makes sense as the three DNA tests differ slightly.

The Information for Richard Bullock has been replaced as unknown Bullock. It has been left in as a starting point and to give a point of reference.

Now, more to the present. My line settled in Pulaski Co. Kentucky (then known as Lincoln Co. Ky.) My Great - Great Grandfather Elisha Bullock moved into Rockcastle Co. Kentucky around 1840, and most of the family still remains there. The farm he owned is still controlled by the Bullock family.
